Display Screen Equipment (DSE) means any alphanumeric or graphic display screen, regardless of the display process involved (Work with Display Screen Equipment ACoP, HSE, 2003). This covers conventional display screens, touchscreens, and microfiche. The Regulations only apply to those who habitually use DSE as a significant part of their normal work.
